A to Z Summer Fun Weekly Recap

Our letters this week were F and S.  The weather has been weird, in other words totally normal for this area.  The beginning of the week was hot and humid so we could only go outside for short periods of time.  Then Thursday evening and overnight we go the remnants of a hurricane with rain and wind.  The Fourth of July was cloudy in the morning but BEAUTIFUL in the afternoon.  It was 80 degrees with no humidity.  This was great for playing outside was chilly for the pools and squirters we'd promised the kids.

S - Squirt fight and Swimming
I love that D was teaching S how to swim.  She was doing and saying all of things her coaches tell her at swim lessons!  I promise I was also involved in the squirt fight.  It's just impossible to squirt and shoot photos!

S - Splash Park
I shared our adventures at the local splash park earlier in the week!

S - Sponge bullseye
We also played a game on the driveway throwing our animal sponges at a chalk bullseye.  The kids loved it and I was so busy having fun with them I forgot to take any photos.

F - Fourth of July and Fireworks
We had a low-key Fourth but it was fun.  B's parents came over for hotdogs and hamburgers.  The kids played outside and then we enjoyed some fireworks in the driveway.
