Get in the Photo

I don't mind being in a photograph!  I know that's not true for most people, but it is for me.  The problem is, I'm usually the one taking the pictures.  Because of that I appear in very few of them.  I have a tripod and 2 different types of remotes.  But most days I don't take the time to get them out.  This year I'm trying to change that and get into the pictures more!

Happy Easter

I hope you and your family had a wonderful, happy Easter!  Ours sure did!!!!   We started the fun on Saturday evening by decorating Easter eggs.  We managed to spill 0 cups of egg dye and I only cracked 3 eggs while boiling them.  As you can see, egg dying is a serious and thought provoking experience in our house. The Easter Bunny left baskets on the table and hid eggs downstairs for the kids on Easter morning.  The baskets had an art book, a book to read, Mad Libs, Tsum Tsums, one small toy, and some chocolate.  We spent the afternoon with family having another egg hunt and dinner.  It was a great way to spend a warm, Easter Sunday!

Christmas Day

We had a very Merry Christmas at our house!  The kids LOVED everything about the day and Santa brought just what each one wanted.  D got the ballerina she had "been longing for!"  S got the Imaginext Rescue City Center.  There were smiles all around by everyone.  B got a bluetooth and a red sweater from the kids.  I got several camera goodies (tripod, remote, macro filters) and a green shirt from the kids.   Stockings were opened before breakfast. Santa knew just what D and S wanted! Joy! We headed over to B's parents' in the afternoon for sandwiches and time with them.  Our big Christmas there is Saturday when everyone is here. I didn't take too many pictures because I wanted to be involved in the excitement and not just through the camera lens. Hope your Christmas was as magical as ours!
