Spring Break Day 3
We started the morning off by painting painter's tape rolls to look like bracelets. Later in the day we decorated them with sparkly jewel stickers for D and Mickey Mouse stickers for S.
The main plan for today was a petting zoo at the local library. I was thinking (as were the kids) there'd be a lot of animals to feed and interact with. D was hoping for a giraffe but assumed there wouldn't be one since this was a farm based zoo. In fact there were very few animals - 1 bunny, 1 turtle, 2 sheep, and 2 goats. They were inside of some fences and you couldn't go inside the fences to pet or feed them. After 5 minutes D declared the trip "a big flop!"
After the very short trip to see the animals we went to a local park to run around. S pretended to be a good pirate while D was a princess. I was the bad pirate who was trying to steal their ship.
D is staying tonight and most of tomorrow with my parents. Not sure what S and I will be up to but there will some kind of adventure I'm sure!
