Projects 52 and 365

Project 52, Week 29 - Music

This was an easy week to photograph because my family loves music!  The kids are constantly singing.  We have toy instruments all over the house and they can make music with anything within reach.  In fact, I had trouble choosing which music picture to use!

Project 365, Days 66-72

I've decided to make January the month of play.  I did a free online photography course hosted by Beryl Ayn Young called the One Ingredient Fix.  This one ingredient to making your photos better is to engage your children in play while you photograph them.  I remember doing this as I took her Momtographie class but I often forget about it while actually shooting photos.  I am determined to remember the play aspect this month (and months to come)!

I also signed up to get an email newsletter from Clickin Moms weekly.  Included in this is a week's worth of photo prompts.  Each day is a subject or idea to think about while shooting photos.  For me this is great since I often struggle with what to photograph for my Project 365.

I plan on combining play and the prompts together each week to take my pictures!

Day 66 - No prompt for this day, just D concentrating

Day 67 - A Goal;  My goal is to be in more pictures.  Here I am playing Hungry, Hungry Hippos with D.  I even got to use my tripod and remote.

Day 68 - The Sky;  The sky was a beautiful bright blue on this FRIGID day with high temperature of 15.

Day 69 - Starts with K; My kid acting like a kangaroo.

Day 70 - Someone(s) I Love

Day 71 - Bug's View;  I used my 50mm lens and +10 macro filter to take this picture of a piece of fuzz from my wool sweater.

Day 72 - Salty; One of my favorite snack, popcorn chips.  I like the bokeh in the front and back of the photo.
