Project 365, Days 123 - 129 Day 123 - With Flowers Day 124 - Pause Sometimes the water gun fight has to pause so you can refill! Day 125 - Where I Stand Day 126 - Adorned D is growing her bangs out so everyday we have to adorn her hair with clips. Day 127 - Towering I told the kids I needed a picture of something towering so S ran over to the play set (with the towers) and said "I'm Ready!!" Day 128 - Change the Scenery We are a family of Packers fan no where close to Green Bay! Day 129 - Tucked In S loves to catch caterpillars then tuck them safely into the trees and grass.

Fun in the Water

Image
After what seemed like the winter that wouldn't end, we've finally gotten some nice warm weather!  Yesterday the weather was gorgeous and we told the kids we'd play outside with the water table and water guns.  Unfortunately another round of illness kept us from doing that.  So I promised D I'd have everything ready to go when she got home from school today.   The kids enjoyed sliding and jumping into the tiny pool they can't fit in at the same time!  D invented the game "Spray Hide and Seek" where the finder shoots the people with a water gun when they're found.  I took a few pictures for about 10 minutes then joined in the fun!

Mornings in the Park (With an iPhone)

Image
I'm not a huge photographer with my iPhone.  I can never get it to focus on what I want and the pictures are usually blurry.  Most of the outings we go on, I take my big camera.  Wednesday morning S and I went to the park and I decided to leave the camera at home.  Instead I snapped a few photos with my phone.

5 Minutes ... Outside

Image
I'm trying something new to challenge myself to get quicker at photographing the kids.  I'm giving myself 5 minutes to shoot photos of whatever they're doing.  When that 5 minutes is up I'm done with the camera and on to playing with them.  This challenge helps me get quicker with the camera, and more importantly gives me more time to play with the kids! Today I photographed S playing outside!

5 Minutes ... In a Box

Image
It's no secret kids love to play in cardboard boxes.  Thursday we got a huge pantry box from Amazon!  It is currently providing great entertainment for S and D.  Here's a quick 5 minute photo shoot of S playing!
